Rina Foster, APR

Rina is a communications expert and accredited public relations advisor who brings nearly two decades of experience to 84 Communications, the award-winning strategic communications and reputation management firm she founded in 2018.

As the company’s chief strategist, Rina helps organizations of all sizes communicate with confidence. She excels at managing high-stakes situations for a diverse range of clients, specializing in strategic communications planning, crisis planning and response and reputation management. She is laser-focused on ensuring communications drive business impact while creating thriving relationships with her client partners and empowering meaningful work.

Rina’s experience spans from senior leadership roles in corporate communications and marketing departments to agency work gained at some of the most well-respected firms. She has a proven track record or guiding organizations through challenging times with integrity and resilience.

She currently teaches Crisis Management through the Continuing Education program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and she has earned her Advanced Crisis Communications Certification through the Public Relations Society of America.

Rina is a member of the Public Relations Society of America’s Counselors Academy, a network of industry-leading senior-level PR agency owners. In her community, Rina is a strong advocate for the public relations profession. She has taught public relations at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as an adjunct professor, served on the Executive Board for the PRSA Western District and served two terms as President of the PRSA Las Vegas Valley Chapter. She was awarded the Public Relations Practitioner of the Year by the Las Vegas Valley Chapter in 2018.
